Another day waking up with No power… but the buzzing of the generator running in the background
We are lucky… left Boracay early this month to USA for family visit, while leisurely stayed in Makati for couple days on both ways back and forth; heard there was scheduled power off almost daily in the past 2 weeks
Could not imagine life with humming noises all day long… I remember how Peaceful the moment we are back home, staring at the sapphire crystal-clear ocean, greeted by the soft sound of the water from white beach and gentle wind whispering through the trees, then birds chirping occasionally for welcoming
The whole journey is eventful with love, care, friendship and kindness… yet still, east or west, home is the Best
P.S. walking on the Station 3 main road from home… the road is nicely widened, while troops of construction workers are climbing high for the installation of brand-new telegraph poles along the roadside; I have been witnessing any tiny bit of the improvements happening on the island since the Apr shutdown, and hopefully, you all have the faith that Boracay is getting Better with time even it is going slow
