What Happened

I left Boracay on Aug 26 (Monday), arriving in Shanghai the next day… thought time to check upon my getting old/more fragile parents once again and in the meantime, to bid farewell to my brother before his family of 3 moving to Canada this September

Turned out… I am stuck in my city Shanghai right now, due to my sickness

It started from the sharp pain woke me up around the midnight of Jul 24 (Wednesday)… foodie as I simply believed it was because I have overdosed the delicious cheese cake my husband freshly made me that afternoon; by Jul 31 (Wednesday) we went to Kalibo MMG for whole abdomen ultrasound and everything seems fine

I do feel chest pain whenever bending down however, so I went to hospital for chest CT scan while in Shanghai… by Aug 30 (Friday) I got the report, it showed large amount of pleural effusions with atelectasis in my right lung and hospitalization is required asap

…it is not even one month in reality by today (Sep 24, Tuesday), yet I have been through so many and felt like over centuries

Health is obviously important as you and me, everyone knows about it… but things happened, sometimes we get sick – and it is at that particular moment, even I felt myself like a robot full of needles, tubes, and pills, I still consider myself lucky because of the love around, not only from the family members, but also from strangers now became friends in my life
