Exotic Encounter

Wide awake, lots in mind… occupied constantly since the day when I came back from Istanbul

A lot of happening, things ongoing… non-stop seems taking over most of the time

Busy, yet luckily… fulfilled; experienced a bit difference even at the gate while waiting for the flight boarding to Istanbul, the city for centuries straddling both continents of Europe and Asia

Did not know Turkish people are inherent warm-hearted, vibrant with enthusiasm with generosity of spirit, trying to offer help spontaneously…

Also did not know the diversity of the desserts there not only look alluring from the shop/restaurant window but also indeed yummy and seductively tasty, even most with pistachio as the major ingredients

What an exotic place on the earth… complex combination of east and west in harmony

Interior dome and wall deco of the Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) can be described by WOW only… took me twice dressing up (take off my shoes putting in a plastic bag then put long gown on and cover my hair with scarf) in entire appreciation of the master structure

While Hagia Sophia (meaning Holy Wisdom) balanced both Christian and Islamic elements under one roof, quietly present visitors stories throughout history

Cruising along Bosphorus Strait, checking out variety of historic waterfront properties stretching along the 32km long channel, the difference between European and Asian architectures and lifestyle unfold quite obviously on each shoreline

It is totally worth it… the Istanbul trip, extraordinary architecture and cultural experience lies around every corner in this great city and I had a blast walking eating shopping while sightseeing day by day
